Instructions For Epson 7 pin Chip Re-setter

These days everyone accepts that OEM cartridges are expensive and Epson cartridges are no exception.

The Chips on Epson cartridges are designed to prevent empty cartridges being used even after refilling!

This re-setter will enable chipped cartridge to be re-used.

The re-setter identifies the cartridge model and automatically selects the correct program required to re-set the chip. It is suitable for use with virtually every Epson chipped cartridge currently on the market and will even work with many compatible cartridges as well.

This re-setter can be used to re-program the following OEM cartridge models T007/T008, etc

These cartridges are used in the following printers-Epson Stylus Photo:780,etc

Instructions for use:

The re-setter has a range of locating notches suitable for positioning all the various current cartridges,

Some cartridges will require the use o f the locating spacer ( iec63,C64,C70,C80,C82,Photo 950, 960,2010 ,2200, R300,R310,R80)

For most cartridges however it should be carefully removed from the main re-setter tool.

‘1. Always ensure the re-setter pin s make good contact with the chip

2. The red and green lights will flash once to indicate the re-setting process has successfully begun

3. The process is complete when the green light alone flashes continuously

Possible problems:

1. Light does not flash Cause:

a Poor pin contact

b Non Epson original cartridge or unlike the design of Epson

2 Poor print quality after refill Cause:

a. Air bubbles come into the cartridge Please keep the ink cartridges there for 24hours and perform the nozzle testing again.

b. Poor quality ink. Please use high quality ink or G &G original ink

These problems are not associated with the chip re-setter’
